About Me

I have always enjoyed making a difference in other people's lives, and being a hairstylist has given me the best opportunity to accomplish this. Upon graduating from the University of Texas with a degree in business, I entered the banking and corporate finance industries. Several unfulfilling years later, I decided a change was in order, and I enrolled in cosmetology school at the age of 26. 

Fortunately for me, I then furthered my knowledge with a year long intensive training program at Ruiz Salon in downtown Austin. This training has provided me the foundation from which I have grown my business, and allowed me to hone my skills as a professional hairstylist. I have over 20 years experience in hair care, as well as experience in runway work, print, and weddings. 

I enjoy all aspects of hair artistry. I believe in the complete package: color, cut and style. To help achieve this balance, I have advanced training in color techniques and correction. 

My goal is for everyone to love the hair they're blessed with.
